We are pleased to be cracking on with this tricky little chalet type house for Mr & Mrs Packman in Uggeshall near to the Suffolk Heritage Coast.
The hybrid glulam, oak and steel structure is needed due to the large areas of triple glazed fenestration the customers will enjoy when the house is finished. Both gable ends have a large glulam sway frame to provide the necessary structural rigidity.
With 184mm panels and an air source heat pump the new home won't be too far from PassivHaus standards and we can't wait to see the finished result.
